Install ReMarkSync on Windows

Outcome: You will install the signed Microsoft Store release and open ReMarkSync.

Before you begin

• Use a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.
• Make sure Microsoft Store is available on the PC.
• Install and sign in to the official reMarkable desktop app. See how to set it up.

Install the app

1. Open the ReMarkSync download page.
2. Select Open Microsoft Store under ReMarkSync for Windows.
3. In Microsoft Store, select Get or Install.
4. Wait for the installation to finish.
5. Select Open.
6. In ReMarkSync, select Get started.

Expected result

The ReMarkSync setup opens at Detect your notes. Microsoft Store will handle future app updates.

If your screen looks different

Microsoft Store may show Install, Get, or Open depending on whether the app has been installed before. The Store layout can also vary by Windows version.

Troubleshooting

Microsoft Store does not open

Open Microsoft Store from the Windows Start menu, search for ReMarkSync, and confirm you are using the public product listing linked from remarksync.com.

ReMarkSync opens but cannot find notes

Open the official reMarkable desktop app first. Wait until the notes you want are visible, then return to ReMarkSync and select Detect automatically.
