about ReMarkSync

Check the requirements, supported accounts, and trial details before you download.

Read the full FAQ
Does sync work in both directions?

No. ReMarkSync currently sends notes from reMarkable to OneNote. Changes made in OneNote do not sync back to your tablet. Two-way sync is in development, with no release date yet.

What needs to be running?

Keep your computer on and connected to the internet. Both the official reMarkable desktop app and ReMarkSync need to be running. They can stay in the background. OneNote does not need to be open.

Can I use a work or school account?

Yes, if the account has access to OneNote. ReMarkSync supports personal Microsoft accounts and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts. Your organization may require administrator approval. Read the work and school guide for details.

How do PDF annotations sync?

PDF pages arrive in OneNote with your handwriting and highlights. Use A4 pages for the best alignment. Other page sizes can sync, but annotations may not line up as closely. Check supported features.

When does the trial start?

The seven-day trial starts when you choose to begin it in ReMarkSync, after setup and email verification. No credit card is required. You'll need a paid plan to keep syncing after the trial. See plans and pricing.

Why hasn't a page synced?

First, check whether the latest version of the page appears in the official reMarkable desktop app. Then open the Activity tab in ReMarkSync to check its status. Follow the troubleshooting guide if it still hasn't synced.

Which reMarkable tablets are supported?

reMarkable 2, reMarkable Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move and Paper Pure, as long as your notes appear in the official reMarkable desktop app on your computer.
