Does reMarkable work with OneNote?
Short answer
Not by itself. OneNote cannot be installed on any reMarkable, and reMarkable has no built-in OneNote option. Your notes can still get into OneNote: as a PDF copy through OneDrive or email, or automatically as real OneNote ink with a desktop app such as ReMarkSync.
Why OneNote can’t run on a reMarkable
reMarkable tablets are built for focus: there is no app store and no web browser, so apps such as OneNote cannot be installed. That is the same on every model. What changes the answer is how your notes leave the tablet: as a PDF copy you send by hand, or synced from your computer by an app.

What “works with OneNote” can mean
People mean different things by “works with OneNote”. The same handwritten page can arrive in three forms:
A picture of the pageOneDrive export or email. You can read it, but you cannot change a stroke. Typed text onlyConvert to text. Easy to search, but drawings and the handwriting stay behind. Real ink you can editReMarkSync. Each stroke stays a stroke, in its color: select it, move it, recolor it.
If a picture of the page is enough now and then, the free OneDrive export or email works. If you want your notebooks in OneNote without doing anything, as ink you can still edit, that is what ReMarkSync does. Every way, step by step.

Can I install OneNote on a reMarkable?
No. reMarkable tablets have no app store and no web browser, by design, so OneNote cannot run on them. You write on the reMarkable and your notes reach OneNote through a computer or the cloud.
Is there an official reMarkable integration for OneNote?
No, as of October 2026. reMarkable connects to OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox, where it saves PDF copies, but it has no OneNote option.
Do I need a reMarkable Connect subscription?
Not for the OneDrive export or for ReMarkSync. ReMarkSync works with what the official reMarkable desktop app downloads to your computer. Without Connect, reMarkable keeps the files you used in the last 50 days in its cloud and apps, so notes you have not opened for longer may not reach the desktop app.
Does it work with a work or school Microsoft account?
